- Arbitrage
- Exploiting differences in odds across bookmakers to guarantee a profit.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money a bettor sets aside for placing bets.
- Cash Out
- The option to settle a bet before the event concludes, locking in a profit or loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, such as a home win or a draw.
- Dutching
- Spreading a stake across multiple outcomes to guarantee a profit regardless of result.
- Edge
- The statistical advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit that can be used to place a bet without risking own money.
- Futures
- A bet placed on an event that will be decided in the future, such as the World Cup winner.
- Handicap
- A points advantage given to the underdog to level the betting field.
- Hedge
- Placing a bet on the opposite outcome to reduce risk or guarantee a profit.
- In-Play
- Bets placed after the match has started, with odds updating live.
- Juice
- The commission taken by the bookmaker on each bet.
- Line Movement
- Changes in the point spread or odds over time.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match outright, without point spreads.
- Odds
- The likelihood of a particular outcome expressed as a number, determining the payout.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of points or goals in a match will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Parlay
